Hey, just read this post on the Deck Strategy forum and wanted to see what
you guys thought.
Basically, the deck tries to cause this situation:
Morghen in the front rank, Arionrhod in the second rank with a Soul Chamber
equipped. From this point on, if Tython deals a wound that would kill
Morghen, the Soul Chamber reacts and sends Morghen to the third rank. Now
there are two illegal ranks (the first rank is empty and the second rank has
0 characters which count for rank holding, effectively, due to Arionrhod's
ability). Is it correct that Morghen can move forward to fix the second
rank, and then move forward to fix the first rank? If so, wouldn't this
create a loop where the player can continue to do this for as long as he
likes? It wouldn't necessarily be stalling if Morghen has the Eye of
Morghen equipped or something, and keeps using the Eye's order everytime he
wins initiative to try and deal wounds/stunnage on Tython.
Also, what would happen if Tython equipped the Great Axe and started doing
two wounds a hit to Morghen, when the Lich only has one HP remaining?
Just wanted to see what you guys thought about this. With respect to
Morghen continually falling foward with one HP remaining thanks to the Soul
Chamber, the idea seems to work. It could definitely be abused against
Tython, however.
